Ban Ki-moon: Arab League must resume Syria mission to stop ‘appalling brutality’
The UN chief said he requested an Arab League observer mission to return to Syria because the failure to agree a UN resolution had given way to “appalling brutality in Homs” which he described as a “grim harbinger of what is to come.”
