Russia hits back at ‘hysterical’ Western response to Syria veto
Russia yesterday condemned Western reaction to its veto of a UN resolution on Syria as “hysterical”, as it prepared for a diplomatic mission which appeared designed to force President Bashar al-Assad into some form of compromise.
