Argentine publisher bids for US media company
The Argentine newspaper La Nación is negotiating to acquire the US publisher ImpreMedia, which owns El Diario/La Prensa, the oldest Spanish language daily in the States, plus six other titles, including La Opinion in Los Angeles. La Nación, based in Buenos Aires, is Argentina’s second-largest daily.
